- No holds barred stories. We will accept pretty much anything that's not illegal*** that is well-written, as long as it's not vanilla (vanilla is defined as one man, one woman, traditional storyline, non-adventurous). Well-written is the key, with a coherent story and believable characters carrying the smut along.
- Stories can be heterosexual, GBLT, or multiple-partner--again, pretty much anything. I, for one, would like to read a well-written orgy story.
- The subgenre can be anything--comedy, suspense, paranormal, scifi, geeky, you name it. (Anyone got an erotic zombie story?)
Do you have a story that's languishing in your files that no one else will take because the characters are oddball, or the plot/setting isn't "romancey" enough? We'd like to see it, once we open to submissions. And, yes, we'll take adultery stories as long as the story doesn't preach about the evils of adultery, or have the characters punished simply because they followed their hearts. Nothing judgmental.
We will accept stories with a wide range of endings, including happily ever after, but if you write a more traditional variety of erotic romance, we won't be the best vehicle for you, even if it's a kinky story. We're not about same-old, same-old.
As the owner, I want Sticky Fingers to be known as the place to find wild and irreverent erotic fiction. If you write that sort of story and are adept with the language, then watch this space!
